IN PURSUIT OF THE PERFECT WINTER COAT

A basic winter coat is a prerequisite to any wardrobe. Something that you can throw over anything and be warm and obviously stylish.

With so many coats in the market it
becomes very easy to fall for the imitation of the classy look you really wanted.
During the search of the ultimate coat, I found many keepers and I lay down the list for you.

MANGO

Definitely a keeper.

From celebrities to models wearing coats from this brand I certainly don’t need to hype it. But it is one of those that you can keep for
many years to come, and certainly wont make you look drab in any kind of occasion.
Since the styles change every season. I selected some which I liked this year. two of these are on sale.

The coats generally range from 7000-18,000 Rs.(100$ to 250$ approx.)

I had my eye on one of it’s beautiful coat and it came on discount (Rs.8000 after discount and I ordered it through myntra)

Waited a few solemn days for it. . only for them to cancel it. (cause too many people had ordered the same thing)

Asos

This site is somewhat like Myntra for Indians. It houses a lot of nice brands like River Island but it also has its own clothing line. And I really liked their coats also. I also purchased a sqeuin dress from here which was dreamy. the whole fit. Remeber though you will have to pay custom charge on all orders. They also have different petite sizes and tall sizes to account for height variation in the population.

Again they have some good fitting options but then many are loose fitting which is something I dont really like right now. But a popular affordable brand one can definitely check out

ZARA

A standard brand, needs no introduction, priced maybe lower than the above mango, forevernew on some coats You should be able to get your style and look, and likely will not be disappointed Though I have noticed that many of the coats and models have this tall lanky masculine looks and some coats are quite loose fitting..

MADAME

This might be lightly out of the blue. But I went to one of the offline stores. Tried one of from these and it looked great. Definitely served my purpose. was shorter than my what I had initally planned. I have worn it a lot this winter. Got it on discount for something lik 2500Rs . well worth the money. Here is a pic of me wearing it.

FOREVERNEW

right in par with MANGO, these have an ultrafeminine appeal. And the sleekness in all of their clothes is absolutely gorgeous.
