Okay so one of the basic aspect
Students will consider is the financial requirements.
Before applying for step 1.
You do ecfmg registration – 9000/- or 125$
Step 1 cost – 76000/- or 1000$
Traveling to the center will vary depending on your centre and residence
My centre was gurgaon so flight two way 7000/- or 100$
Hotel stay one night average 1500-2000.
I stayed with my brother
Coaching for step 1 U world I took 6 months – 400$ or 27,000
First aid- 3000
Depending on whether you take other resources like Kaplan, first aid q bank. Additional cost will be there.
Practice exams.
NBME- considered the best way to assess whether you are ready. 60$ or 4200
Step 2 ck cost- 1580$ or 1,12,855 Rs.
Again travelling to your center.
U world-. coaching I took 12 months. 500$ approx or 36000
Step 2 cs cost- 1580$ or 1,12 855
Additional cost of traveling and staying in US. For giving.
United States clinical experience.
Cost very highly varied.
Apart from staying there for three four months on your own funding .
All colleges have some application or tuition fees.
Budget can range from 2-3 lakhs to 12-15 lakhs easily. May be more depending where you do the course.

Interview round of lasting around three months as you will travel in US only to multiple places. So wiill cost around 5 lakhs or 7000$.
I will update this post on exact expenses I incurred, when I go through the whole process.
But this will give you a fair idea.
To a lot of you, it may look like a huge sum.
But if you have definitely made up your mind about USMLE. Then don’t keep money as a factor. It might take two years to pay off the loan. but it is certainly doable.
